    Description

    Beautiful antique English sterling silver thimble with Chester hallmarks and date mark 1902, maker's mark "H.W. Ltd.".  Also marked 8 for size next to the hallmarks.  The thimble has waffle pattern and then impressed swirly star design on top.  Measures 24mm high and opening is 17mm.  Weighs 5.89 grams.  Very slightly out-of-round when viewed from bottom, otherwise very good.
