C&C SIlverplate Signed w/ Castle and Hallmarks Eagle Headed Sauce or GRAVY BOAT

This gravy boat/saucier is just stunning; It is marked C & C with a castle hallmark and some other letters as well...great Eagle/Griffin handle with much detail and much repousse silverwork around the body of the saucier--twirled footed legs with Northwinds type ladies at the top of each.  The feet, themselves, appear webbed.  There is a cartouche on each side suitable for monogramming but this has never been done--so it is blank.
Its a heavy and large piece--9 x 5 x 4 1/2 inches....and weighty...in mint condition--could stand a cleaning but see no wear though of the plating--so much have not been used or cleaned very often--perhaps a cabinet piece? Don't know...bought it earlier in the week at an estate sale near the University in Burlington, Vermont...nice home, great estate...
